Yes, yes yes another hair post! ;)
I have had a very busy week as my Father has been in the hospital. I have let my hair air dry this week and I haven't put much thought into it. Last night I put my hair in a pony and I noticed I could put the rubberband around my pony three times and not the usual two. Upon further inspection it looks like I have male pattern baldness! LOL! Its not that bad, but I had to french braid my bangs this morning and cover up the spot!
I have very fine hair but a ton of it. The good thing is if I wear my hair wavy you can't really tell.
I think I was expecting to see clumps of my hair in the shower and I haven't. Has anyone noticed thinning hair without the clumps?
At this point not so bad.....I have a hair apt scheduled for Valentines Day and I think I'll chop it into a Taylor Swift Bob then!!
If this is the worse thing about VSG then this is a breeze! :)

I posted a response to your post but Lord knows where I posted it or what button I clicked to post, because I don't see it here LOL.
Anyways, I cut my hair short back in April after I read on this forum that it would probably start falling out after surgery. My hair has always been somewhat thin in the top. I haven't noticed any thinning yet and I am 4 months out. Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't start! I have always noticed that when my hair is long, it is heavier and it pulls and makes the top look thinner, so for me, cutting it short fills in the thinner section.

Well, I don't know about clumps, but my hair comes out by the handful when I wa**** It's really pretty awful right now. I must have tried a dozen different shampoos in the last couple of months in an effort to make it look not so limp. It's like it's greasy and dry at the same time and it looks terrible. I'm just wearing it up until I can get to my hairdresser.
I am a hairdresser that because of "new" growth from the hair fall that I just put a whole bunch of layers into my hair. the new hair coming in has a "mind" of its own and wants to be curlier then my old hair was. make sure your eating your protein, taking your vitamins and taking biotin will help with the new hair coming in to be strong!! Be gentle with your hair too good shampoo and conditioner will help. Layers think Layers! Good luck!
