How frustrating for you! Here is my advice:

Water - up it to 80-100 oz per day. This is clear, clean water with NOTHING added to it.

Log/Track everything that goes in your mouth. NO cheating on this.

Make sure your protein level is between 80 and 100 grams per day - closer to 100 is best.

Keep your carbs low (I have found that below 40 grams per day works best for me) and calories around 800 per day..

And here's a big one that's hard for some: NO PROCESSED OR PACKAGED FOOD AT ALL! (That means real cheese, not processed, real meat instead of processed lunch meat, and no 100 calorie packs of anything!)

Yes, sort of hard core, I know, but it's what worked for me during WL.

Edited to add: the no processed food rule does not apply to your protein supplements.

Thanks...I'm 4 months out and don't think I have ever met my water or protein goal...just seems like there isn't enough hours in the day to keep eating and drinking..I'm trying really hard to meet these goals...I'm down 63 lbs...I think it's time to change things up a little

At 4 months out you really should be able to meet your water goals. Protein may still be a bit of a struggle, but the swelling in your sleeve should be gone.

At three years out I still have daily water goals. I drink 8 oz first thing before coffee or anything else. Then I can have a protein coffee. Then I have to have 16 more ounces by 10:00 am when I eat my breakfast/mid morning snack. Then I have to have 8 more ounces by noon. So that's half my water done by noon.

Then I work on getting 16-24 more ounces in by 3 pm and when I go to the gym in the afternoons after work I get another 24 oz in. Yes, I still have to work at it 3 years out, because it's easy to only get 48 ounces. Getting 72 to 80 oz a day is a push, but I've been doing it since about 3 months out.

Try setting a schedule and sticking to it - even when it's hard to do.

Wow, Kairk explained this so well. Thanks for the advice! What about activity? How do you think exercise plays into it? I've "walked" myself out of a few stalls - I'm only five weeks out, but I've stayed the same for several days in a row. I try to add activity. Just a thought - wondering what you think?

Best wishes - you will get there! And what a great accomplishment you've already reached! Inspiring!

Up your water. Drink your way out of a stall. I stalled a little, upped the water and added more cardio and the stall stopped right away. Just fine tune your routine.

Now, I get 7 servings of water in before my lunch. And then 4 more before I go home from work. Then at least 2 more before bed. It's a lot, but seems to work for me. Plus in the winter, things are so drying to my skin and lips, etc. so the extra water helps hydrate.
