My old, reliable for parties is mini-meatballs. I found a nice low-carb recipe with beef and a little pork sausage.  I serve them with a BBQ sauce on the side.  Lately I've been using the Trader Joes Caroliina Gold BBQ sauce and its been a big hit.

best of luck,

Carol

The chicken wings are a good idea.  Nothing says Superbowl Sunday like a bucket of wings.  We're also going to have bacon wrapped bbq chestnuts (delicious) and a platter of cheese, pepperoni, and crackers.  I obviously won't eat the crackers but I love pepperjack cheese and pepperoni.  Have fun!

I'm going with the wings. They're marinating now. I'll let you know how they turn out. The marinade tasted delicious!

Oh, Gwen...I can eat a plate of my deviled eggs. I was at a restaurant awhile back that had them deep fried. Gilding the lily much?!  Ew!

I made this for a WLS meet up a few years ago.

Thai Chicken Satay with a yogurt peanut sauce.

Would you share the recipe?  And what is Cafe Frisco?  Is it a WLS-friendly cafe here in San Fran, by chance???
