Hey there, thank you!

No, insurance did not pay for plastics. I had three procedures done at once, a lower body lift, breast lift, and extended arm lift and it cost about $19,500. To do a thigh lift, it will be another $6,300.

You must be 7 feet tall because I am not seeing 185-190 on an average height frame.

Nikki,

Take a break from losing, but never, never, never take a break from weighing yourself.

It is when people put the scale away that they start to regain.  You look fantastic and deserve to enjoy this new life.

I wake up every morning and remind myself that I have not always looked like I do today and that it is easy to slip back to old habits and regain my lost weight.

Keeping that mindset has kept me at my goal for over seven years.

Thanks so much!!

I sometimes have moments where I think, "Wow, I get to look/feel this way forever if I just stay motivated/dedicated" and your post reminded me of those thoughts. The weighing thing is huge.... I'm trying not to be obsessive, but putting my head in the sand and ignoring the scale is an absolute NO-NO!

I am a little over two and a half years out.  My advice to you is to loose the rest of your weight now.  The further out you get the harder it gets to maintain and loose?  Habits change, your body changes, things get hectic.

Thanks for the advice. I think my biggest struggle is determining what "the rest of your weight" means to me.

I would not worry about the number on the scale but I would continue to try to get more fit and lower your body fat percentage. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns which will help with long term maintenance.

Keep up the good work!!

Thanks so much! Sound advice!! I really would like to continue to get the body fat % testing done yearly. I definitely think it is a much better indicator of a healthy weight than BMI - not that BMI can't be a good "general guideline"

Hot mama!!!! Where would you pull off more weight? You look amazing down to your toes. No, really, your feet are thin! LOL!

Seriously, I have to agree with earlier statements that this decision doesn't have to come now. You have a lifetime to find that sweet spot. Let's enjoy some of the scenery on the journey!

You are doing an awesome job! I love your updates. They really make me buckle down and get my ass, all my ass, in gear.
