Weird question about BO

So, this is strange, but I don't seem to have body odor any more.  I've actually stopped wearing deodorant.  Has anyone else had this experience?  I weigh 148 now, I've lost 112 lbs.

It might be better to ask those around you whether you have BO. Computers are amazing, but they have yet to feature a "sniffer" function.

On the other hand, if lack of BO is a common result after WLS, that would be great!

It is my husband who mentioned it.  He should know. :)

Maybe you are not sweating as much? I found myself much colder after surgery and therefor not as apt to get heated and sweat (sometimes that's the cause of our BO) Just my thoughts..

I was never a heavy BO guy, but I sweat like a faucet. After surgery the sweating pretty much stopped and what little BO I did have from sweating seemed to vanish. I use very little deodorant or antiperspirant anymore.

BO can be caused by sweat getting caught in skin folds and getting funky. If you have fewer squishy spots for sweat to collect, then maybe it's possible?

Even the change of diet can change the way your sweat smells. I read an article on time about how many Asians thought Americans smelled bad because we eat so much meat, pre packaged and sweet food. So I imagine that eating healthier, cleaner foods can make a big difference in how we smell. So not only will we look better we'll smell better too!
