feeling light headed and migraine any ideas?

I just had surgery last wendsday and was having hard time with swallowing fluids. I was finally realesed Saturday but since then have felt light headed and have a headace any suggestions 

Headache and lightheadedness can be a sign of dehydration. Most people have a hard time drinking at first, so just go slow and steady. Keep a cup with you and sip sip sip! I got some 3oz paper bathroom cups and tried to get one of those down every hour.

If you're at all worried, though, please call your surgeon's office-- they're there to help! You can often speak with a nurse or PA over the phone right away, and they can tell you if you just need to drink, or if there's something else going on and you may need to come in to the office.
