Any severe GERD problems

Good luck with that.  My surgeon removed my fundus during my original surgery, therefore a fundoplication (which by definition requires a fundus) was not available to me.

Full nissen fundiplication is obviously not possible with a sleeve, but there are Belsey, Dor, Thal, and Toupet fundiplications as well. They are not a 360 degree wrap like the nissen, so the success rate is not the same, but I am willing to take my chances with a partial wrap. The surgeon I am using has done many of them before.
