Walking. I'll take a small walk on my lunch break and then a bigger walk around the park behind my house after work.

*sigh* I am finally doing better with my food intake. Now to get back to this thing called exercise. With 2 jobs its difficult but, we shouldn't have excuses (7 days a week). I work 12 hours today, I have an awesome low calorie high protein low carb food intake today, I should just work out. Goal; T25 after job2 tonight. Its ONLY 25 minutes. I can spare that.

Maybe hitting the gym for a swim after Little Dude is in bed for the night. One lap, rest 10 sec, one lap, rest 30 sec, see how long I can go before my legs turn to jello.

May have to skip, though, since I'm donating blood on my lunch break today. Important to take it easy after that!

Have you considered donating platelets? They regenerate in just a fww days, you can donate more often, and you lose fewer of your precious red cells.

I already do! They like me because I can do triple units of A+ very quickly, and I like it because I get some quiet time while husband plays with the baby. :)

So you do pretty good after? I used to donate blood as often as I could whenever the blood bus is around, but they told me not to after surgery (my surgeon group)

I'd love to get back on that bus, though

Yup, no problems at all! I'm a little lightheaded about two hours after donating right now, but I imagine in an hour or two I'd be fine to go take a bit of a walk around the office complex. If anything, I actually recover more quickly from donating now than I did pre-surgery, probably because I'm generally in better health.

I still make sure not to exercise the same day as I do platelets, though, that takes quite a bit out of me. So I usually do my long bike ride on Saturday, then donate platelets on Sunday morning and recover that day.

If you go to redcrossblood.org, it's really easy to find a drive where they'll have the bus near you. Definitely recommend it! :)
