I'm sure I posted that my dr (allergist) gave me permission to try the shakes, go back for results of blood work Friday.    :)  as it happens, I didn't tolerate it, so I didn't even chance the premiere shake. Oh well there are other protein options.

Question, have you tried the beef, turkey jerky, wondering if its very salty????

I eat jerky - I make my own beef jerky actually. I've never had problems with the salt, but storebought stuff can be bad in terms of added crap and sugar, so you've got to be careful to read the ingredients.

When you're trying to "get your tool working" the best thing to do is to stick to dense proteins.  So instead of things like oatmeal, apples, bars, salads, and shakes, it might be better to eat chicken, steak, fish, etc.

Massage day? That's a thing? Now, I'm jealous!

Sorry to hear about your root canal, that just sucks!

I lived on banana protein faux ice cream on the purée stage. Basically you freeze a half of banana sliced, throw it in food processor, stop when it looks like sand, add 1 scoop of banana creme isopure zero carb protein, one Splenda, then blend until smooth, the consistency of ice cream.

D - chicken and broccoli casserole

S- unsalted sunflowers, protein pudding

Part of "Operation Be Kind to Myself" was the addition of a monthly massage into my life.  It's been amazing.  And today my massage therapist was like "Woah!  Have you been losing more weight?!"  

She's seen me since the beginning, so it's always neat :)

Hello everyone!

B: 1 egg scrambled with 1 tablespoon low fat cottage cheese and 1 tablespoon egg whites and coffee ( which I drank an hour before the food).

S: handful of pork rinds

L: 3 oz chicken breast

S: 6 Colby jack cheese cubes and about 1/4 cup cashews

D: taco casserole

s: Orgain organic protein shake 

water: almost done for the day 

vit: done

exercise: 25 min walk on my lunch break, 28 mins on the elliptical and some lower body strength training.
