My surgery date went from October 1st, to July 30th...and I'm DONE!!!

Success! I had my surgery and I only had about a week and a half to prepare. My doctor had a cancelation, so I was able to move up the date. I am now in recovery (ouch!) but I am so thrilled to have it over with...and the journey ahead! Tammy

Thanks everyone! I'm doing very well!! Dr. Moonka from Virginia Mason in Seattle did my surgery! That hospital and it's staff are sooooooo impressive! I'm am healing well...and had my first follow-up appt today. I don't have to go back to see the doc for 3 months. The nutritionist put me on some solid foods today which was very welcomed. Other than some nausea, I'm having a great recovery! Down 21 pounds from my last hospital weight (16 from my last doctor's appt.)!!! Good luck to all in waiting! Tammy
