Anyone been approved with Medicaid??

Hi I am looking into having the surgery; but all I have is WV Medicaid. I was just wondering if anyone on here has had the surgery with only having Medicaid? If so, what were the requirements and how long did it take to get approved? Thanks for any info!

HI...I am from Florida but have family ties to SW WV (Logan Co) so was just looking around. 

I found your question and will tell you a dear friend of mine here in Florida used Medicaid.  He had less problem qualifying than I have with insurance.  From the time he qualified till his surgery it was about 3 months max.  I believe it was 2 months. 

You might have to shop a bit for your surgeon. But big cities may have more of a choice.

Don't know if WV medicade is different than Florida...But hey....go for it.  They can only say no and you will be better off if they say yes!
