NSV at doctor's office

Last Saturday I went to my PCP to discuss decreasing my diabetes meds since I started my pre-surgery liquid diet.  We decided to stop 2 of my 3 diabetes medications.

Today I received a note from my doctor showing that my Total Cholesterol is 118 (down from 144 in December).  My bad cholesterol is 44.  The comments from the doctor at the bottom of the form said that she is going to cut my cholesterol medicine in half next time I am in.

Then she wrote: "I can tell from your blood work what a wonderful job that diet is doing for you and how hard you are working.  Congratulation and you go girl!"  That made my day!

Congratulations!! I did the same thing. I was off of pretty much everything before I even had surgery and post op my blood pressure dropped too so I was able to stop those meds as well....It's awesome what this surgery is capable of...You're having surgery on my birthday!! Good luck..I hope everything goes well and you have much success.
