 Hi: To all
                Question:

Does adrenaline get affected after having VSG surgery ?

I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV---but I can't imagine how the VSG would affect adrenaline.

Nope.

I have an adrenal condition, so although like Ms. Batt I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV, I happen to know the answer to this one. No affect on adrenaline or adrenal function at all.

The chemical it affects is called grehlin (also known as the hunger hormone, though it does some other stuff too). By removing almost all the gastric fundus, where most grehlin is produced, a properly made tight sleeve greatly reduces levels of this hormone and studies show that though they do increase again they don't approach pre-surgery levels.

Could this be what you're thinking of?
