I was allowed lettuce at three months.  I never will eat pasta again.  It is too filling for my tiny pouch.  Lettuce breaks down when well chewed.

I had VSG but am 6 weeks and am cleared for salad. Havent had it yet but cant wait - love raw veggies. MD did stay to stay away from raw broccoli, cauliflower, etc for a while longer.

I had a salad---a TINY one!---at four weeks. My trouble wasn't that I couldn't tolerate it, it was that if I ate salad I didn't have room for protein.

It took me a good 6 mos before I could enjoy salad.  It would cramp me up fiercely.  Pasta today still gives me horrendous gas.  I can do a little Dreamfields pasta, but prefer just to find someting else to enjoy the delicious sauces with.

I could eat salad at 6 weeks or so.  I never had a problem with any type of lettuce.
