Officially in training.....
I have started training (I haven't been doing walking since my surgery due to illness but am cleared now) and today I walked/ran or as I say wogged 1.92 miles in 42 mins. I am sure this is rather slow but I think it is a good start. I hope to be in the big leagues one day..HA
I am signed up for a 5k in Oct..there is no turning back on fitness now! I am super excited about getting healthy again.

Yes that is a good start, just keep walking and run, but don't forget to drink water it is much better if you always bring a bottle of water and drink atleast every 15 minutes so you will not be dehydrated. Let me give you a tip.. walking up the mountain or hill is much better than walking and running in a flat road. Your stamina will increase and you will be much more healthier. Don't forget to rest ok? Don't push your self to hard, you can do it little by little.
