Desperate for salad!!!!!

17 days post op rny, and desperate for salad!!!! How long was it before folks were able to eat salad. I know it might be a while, I just want something to look forward to!

Sort of depends what surgery you had. You probably can have it sooner with a band than the other surgeries.

In the meantime, enjoy your shakes and mushies. If you have a juices, you could through some cucumbers in.

I had RNY and it was three months before I could gave lettuce.

It depends on the individual and surgery. I was able to eat salad after one month. That was actually the one thing that I was craving above anything too!
