How soon after surgery can I wear real pants?

I usually wear dresses to work, so it's not a huge deal, but when can I plan on wearing jeans again?

Honestly, even though i was losing massive amounts of weight the first 2 Weeks, I was almost 3 Weeks out before i could wear anything with buttons due to being bloated by the gas they fill u with during surgery. It was disheartening to know i was losing 1-2 lbs a day and.still couldn't fit in. stuff i wore before surgery. But one morning i woke up, tried em on and they snapped but were way to big.. Give it time, make sure to walk and move as much as possible. It really does help. Good luck

I wore my jeans about 3-4 weeks out. It depends on how you are healing and how much they rub against your skin. Dress pants I coudl wear at the end of 2 weeks.

I would say that as long as they are not too tight, wear them as soon as they feel comfortable on you.
