Will a sinus infection cause surgery to be postponed?

Perhaps but only your medical posse can answer for sure. You really want to be at the best you can be when you go under so if they delay a week or 2 remember that it's only a delay and better a delay than a complication.

It depends. I was coming down with a cold when I had my surgery, and of course told the surgeon, nurse, anesthesiologist...heck, everyone that would listen. Nurse said if I had a fever or hacking cough they would cancel it.
