oh so yummy!
I am on day 2 of my 10 day liquid preop diet and I finally figured out a wonderful recipe that I can stomach my protein. 4 ice cubes, 1scoop of vanilla whey protein, 1 or 2 tbs dark chocolate cocoa powder, 1 tbs splenda and 1 cup skim milk 1 single serve packet of folgers original roast instant coffee. Blended in my magic bullet. Taste like a mocha frappe. Yummy! Don't think I am suppose to have skim milk on my liquid diet but I can't stomach the protein without it.
I tried a new shake recipe just a few minutes ago and it was so good - cake batter!
- half cup cottage cheese
- vanilla protein
- 3 packets of Splenda
- four drops of extract (almond or butter)
- a few drops of vanilla extract
- ice cubes
-water ( start with about half a cup and add as needed)
Throw it all in a blender. My new fave!
