Did any of you get medical tourism insurance when traveling out of country?. I am so worried that if something happens on the table ( god forbid) to get me back to Canada or fixed up will break us. Any and all  replies will be most grateful . Tracy

I'm not sure what type of surgery you are having but if it is [considered] elective [by the insurance carrier], the insurance may not cover the problem of whatever happens on the table. I'm just not sure at all so when you are looking in to this insurance, make sure they cover you.
