I felt the same way. It will get better. I just made myself drink the nasty protein shakes to get in my protein. Cream of mushroom soup with melted cheese tasted good for a couple of days...surprised me! I found a protein shake that I could tolerate and it was 68 g of protein and just drank that all day alternating with water and crystal light. Good luck!

I have the vanilla shake frm Walmart. One scoop is 30 g of protein. I used 2scoops with 8 oz silk and 8 oz water and ice. You can add instant coffee to change the taste. I also add powdered milk to add protein. 1 tablespoon is 2 grams of protein. I put 3tablespoons in my coffee which is 6 grams of protein.

You can also add 1/2 a banana and a couple drops of vanilla flavoring with ice for a refreshing van/banana shake

Now I am drinking nectar by syntrax. I add water and lemonade (crystal light). I think the best flavors are fuzzy navel, roadside lemonade, grapefruit. You can order a trial pack for 19.00 at BJsBariatrics.com . Each envelope has 23 g of protein. They are different than the milky shakes. I hope to not drink protein drinks much longer. I am sick of them too. Lol
