No longer a lurker...

I've been lurking about on this board for the last few weeks, I was scared to post anything until I knew surgery was a possiblity for me.  I got the call today, I was approved!!!!!!!!!!!  So excited.  I'll be having gastric bypass. Waiting to hear back about my esophageal scope being scheduled.  Then we will set up the preop appts and maybe set a date!  I'll have to be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks.  Sounds like I'll be having Thanksgiving dinner in a glass, but for this I am THANKFUL!!!

And now just a few hours later I have all my appointments and a surgery date of 12/4.  It's like wait, wait, wait, wait....BAM!!!!

Congratulations!!!! Awesome news indeed ... your big day is right around the corner ... I am sooooooooooo happy for you!!! It seems like once the date is set the time just flies by and before you know it it is happening ... again CONGRATS on your good news.
