I've lost the 11lbs required to qualify for surgery but fluctuate 1-3lbs every other day. Nothing in the guidelines say anything about maintaining the loss so I'm wondering if this could stall my surgery date. I have my psych eval next week, the last step before I get a date.
I wouldn't think so since our bodies can fluctuate that much on a daily basis from fluid retention. I guess the only way to know for sure is ask your surgeon, but I would certainly hope not.
