Hi I'm new to the website. I have 4 more visits n I can schedule my surgery. So do anyone have any thing to share with me? I'm getting the Gastric Bypass

Read, read, and then read some more.  Check out the RNY board, if that's the surgery you are definitely going to have.  Check out the "Search" feature (the magnifying glass on the right hand of the blue bar) if you have any specific concerns.  Check out theworldaccordingtoeggface . com for suggestions and ideas.  Ask any questions you may have - most people here are very supportive.

Choosing which form of WLS to have is a MAJOR decision. Have you also researched the VSG/Sleeve and the DS/duodenal switch? Can you tell us why you have chosen the RNY/gastric bypass over the others?

I'm not trying to be confrontational, I'm just trying to get you to really think about your decision. There are so many different reasons we become fat, and each form of WLS addresses obesity differently. It's very important to choose the best procedure for YOU.
