8 Years today.

8 years ago today I was at the hospital waiting to go into surgery and trying to talk myself out of it due to nervous. Well, fortunately I didn’t and went through with my life change on June 24, 2006. It was a bit rough at first during recovery but it was normal being through such an ordeal. After a about 3-4 weeks life started to get back to normal with work and and everyday routines and what not. My way of eating had changed for ever and this was exciting as the weight just fell off around me as I walked. Each week that went by I swear my clothes just kept getting bigger and falling off me. Needless to say that buying cloths was useless if you expected to wear the more then a few times. LOL. but for some reason I didn’t care, oh yeah probably because I was so wrapped up in my weight loss who cared about cloths. I had a few complications to contend with down the road when I devolved an incisional hernia from the open surgery, that’s my only down side to everything thus far. due to my physical and liver size I had no choice had to be a full open surgery. So even today I struggle with mess issues which was used in my abdominal wall repair but all said and done I’m still extremely pleased and would do it again looking back. June 2006 – 470 pounds today June 24, 2014 215 pounds. I have maintained my original loss for 8 years and I am doing much better off then 8 yeas ago.

Today's weight 215.

Don’t forget – It’s not a diet. It’s a total lifestyle change…
