Revision in Mexico?

i had a gastroplasty in 2001, lost 80 lbs, gained 110lbs, lost 35 lbs.  Have been on a waiting list since 2012 for revisional surgery.  My surgeon is great but it's a very different situation financially in Canada than in the US.  I have no idea when surgery will come through for me.  So i've been thinking about going to Mexico.  

So, does anyone know of any great revisional surgeons in Mexico?  I have been told that not all barriatric surgeons have the skills to do a revision, so I need to find a surgeon with experience in revisions.  

I have no idea how I would afford to go to Mexico, but one step at a time!!

the only surgeon in Mexico I would use for a revision is Dr. Ungson.  GL

I'm not sure exactly what you mean when you said you had a gastroplasty. Was it a VBG/Vertical Banded Gastroplasty?

What sort of revision are you seeking?

I second the recommendation for Dr. Gilberto Ungson.  I believe he's in Hermasillo, MX
