Well hell I gain 11.8 pounds the last week!!! What the hell that puts me at 59.91% BMI and the max is 60%BMI for the VA!!! I have a appointment with my therapies on Wed he's going to be real happy with me!! What the hell am I doing is only been a week and I am running in circles now.

What, exactly, are you eating?  Are you weighing, measuring, and logging everything you eat?  Are you seeing a nutritionist/dietician to help you develop a meal plan?

I only started tracking my meals and such since 8/29 and have had a daily intake of about 5000 cals a day and that is down from over 10,000 a day. I weighted my self on my home scale that is digital that goes up to 500# and when I weight in at the VA on 8/21/14 I was 430 fully dressed and when I weighed tonight I was 441.8.

No I have not seen a diet specialist yet I am on the waiting list.

There can be HUGE discrepancies from one scale to another, even when using digital scales.  I often weigh myself at home right before I go to the doctor's office, and there is sometimes a 4 pound difference.

It is most likely just a difference due to water retention.  It is normal for our bodies to fluctuate several pounds because of varied sodium intake and female hormonal fluctuations. There are also medical conditions that can cause fluid retention that can vary from day to day.

People weigh lightest first thing in the morning and weigh heaviest in the evening, so the time of day that you weighed may be a factor. 

You probably didn't actually gain over 11 pounds in one week if you are correct about your caloric intake. Try weighing yourself again in a day or two.

Okay, there's something really strange going on here. In this post, you say you're eating FIVE THOUSAND calories a day.In another post in this thread, you list what you're eating, and that doesn't add up to but FOUR HUNDRED calories, plus whatever you ate for dinner. (And I cannot imagine it's physically possible to eat a single meal of FORTY-FIVE HUNDRED calories.)

If you truly are eating FIVE THOUSAND calories a day, I can see why you're having trouble losing weight. If it's more like ONE THOUSAND, I understand why you're upset.

The best diet advice I can give it this: Eat real meals consisting of high-protein, moderate-fat foods, and keep your carbs as low as humanly possible. There is no virtue in a liquid diet---in fact, eating dense protein instead of shakes will make you less hungry and therefore less likely to cheat on your diet.

Here is what I am starting in the morning

Breakfast - Protein Shake 100 cal

AM Snake -  Protein Shake 100 cal

Lunch -   Protein Shake 100 cal

Afternoon snake -  Protein Shake 100 cal

Dinner- Real meal ??? cal intake

Stay on it my man! Make sure you drink, drink, drink (water or crystal light), get your protein shakes in, and when you eat your meal make sure your eating your protein first, and remember to chew, chew, chew and when u think your done chewing, chew it a little more. You have no idea how just these little things can help! I used to weight 415 pounds  exactly at this time last year! Last year around this time i went to my 1st Bariatric Information meeting to learn about weight loss surgery and the different types, etc... I just finally had my surgery 3 months ago and i am down to 265. I lost a little over 100 pounds in 3 months. So trust me, if I can do it, ANYONE can!!!! You just have to literally take it day by day. I know people say that all the time, but its true. Just focus on YOU! Keep track of ANYTHING that enters your mouth, get in that habit. I can't tell you how much easier it is after surgery if you start your habits before you get there. It makes it so much easier to adjust to then. So just remember, you can do this. Also before i had surgery i had issues where i would retain water. There were some weeks where i would gain 15-20 pounds in a week of jus****er! I was actually hospitalized for breathing issues, and while i was in there they put me on Lasiks and i lost 50+ pounds in a week of pure water! Luckily i had a catheter in so i didnt have to keep running to the bathroom, lol but i went through bag after bag. So gaining 11 pounds in a week could be water, it could be alot of things. Just focus on your eating and EXERCISING and the weight will come off! And congrats on cutting your calorie intake in half. People dont realize how hard it is to cut your calorie in take in half...If u ever need help, let me know

Well I weighted my self this AM and I was 438.5 so that's a increase of 8.5 pounds from 8/21/14 but a drop of 2.5 pounds from 9-1-14

If I'm reading this correctly, you are nearly at the max BMI allowed.

Therefore, I would cut the carbs way back, no sweets and do a shake for breakfast and shake for lunch with very light dinner.

This might be enough to get you below the max line.
