Open letter to OH. Excuses have run out of time.

I have been a member of OH since early 2006. Over the years there have been, inevitably, technical issues on the site. But you have always resolved them.

The failure of your technical team to address the issue of erratic notifications of replies and messages has now been on-going for many months. In reply to the many questions posted on the board about this and the many replies to e mail complaints, you apologise and tell us the matter has been passed to your technical team.

Either these messages are not in fact being passed on or your technical team is, quite simply, useless.

In many ways, no notifications at all would be better than erratic notifications.

I am definitely getting more notifications but probably only about half of the ones I should be getting.

I do think I see a form email coming our way.  One that has been used over and over again by CS.  CS, fix the problem already.  Geez.

I think Bette was comparing your standard " have patience" responses on this board to the irritating recorded messages given out by call centres over the phone. I don't think she meant she had actually phoned you.

Will calling this number do anything to resolve the problem with notifications?

This response is a shining example of the underlying problem. Apparently reading with comprehension is not a skill OH's customer service department has.
