Oh my God

I am having surgery I am a little nervous but excited to finally be healthy. I am really wondering what I will look like skinny since I have always been bigger. Did anyone else cry when they were approved or get anxiety? What should I bring with me to the hospital? 

I took my own pillow, a pair of PJ's and my cell phone.  (and some overnight stuff, undies, deodorant etc)  

I was really nervous and let them know that when i got there so they started my IV early and gave me something to calm me down.  

I walked in in a tee shirt and pajama bottoms, wore the same home. Also brought my own pillow and e-reader. Whatever to get you through. Let them know you are anxious, they will help you out with that. Good Luck, you'll do fine.

I took crystal light packets because it was hard, and still is hard, for me to drink plain water.

CHAPSTICK!

and a comfy pair of slip-on shoes, slippers or sandals.

I cried, a lot , when I knew I was going to be able to have surgery done.
