I have intense pain on the left side of my back.  Its in the middle, to the left of the spine.  The only relief I get is laying flat on my back.  I work, I'm a wife a mother so I can't lay down all the time.  It started a month or so ago when I would eat, but now its all the time.

Anyone else experience this?

Have you been having regular BM?   Not saying you are, but you could be full of **** literally even with having BM's.

It wouldn't hurt to give your doctor a call.  It could be nothing or it could be something our bodies are funny like that.

Hope you feel better and get to the bottom of the pain.

Please contact a Dr. I don't know if there is any relationship to your surgery, but that kind of pain is not normal.  Are your bladder habits changing?  The location you describe is where kidney pain is often felt. On the less freaky side, you could have a muscle or back strain problem.  Lots of moms do!

Best wishes

Middle-back on one side could be kidneys, perhaps? Have you been to the doctor lately?

Back pain can be so many things so you really should get yourself to a doctor.  Could be kidney stones, gall bladder, appendix, bowel issues, actual spine problems.. talk to your doctor.

as we lose weight our body is shifting.

I needed regular chiropractic adjustments during my losing time.  even now - I need at least monthly "corrections" there is no more fat to keep my spine the way it needs to be.. so it "pops out" here and there...

Do you still have your gallbladder? Years ago when I would have a gallbladder attack after eating it would start in my back. Please talk to your doctor and have them run some tests.
