The beginning is tough. It will get better and you won't sip forever. If you can take more than a sip, fluids aren't going to hurt you. You can make yourself tea and things too as long as it doesn't have calories. Doesn't always have to be jus****er. I don't know what kind of protein powders you can get, but keep on trying different ones. Right now the protein and fluids are the most important.
