What do you eat to gain weight? -fun topic

So we all talk about what to eat to loose weight so I want to talk about what to gain weight (sarcasm).  The point here is to have fun, no judgments from others, just self discovery that we can relate to.

Starbucks - I'm a sugar monster and after allowing myself into their pastry cabinet it's never just a latte anymore it's something else, and later in the day I'm all about sugar all day long.

Foods made in a pan like hamburger helper- I don't tend to measure it, often I'll add cheese that I don't end up counting as calories, and seconds are so easy because who makes only 1 cup of something like this?

Foods with sauce- for lap band users these are dangerous they go right past the band and we have the ability to eat almost as normal if they do.  I turned to sauces, gravy, or dressings because they don't get stuck but they add calories and I can eat more of them.

Before surgery I had a bowl of ice cream with all the toppings every night.  I also used to bake 4 loaves of home made bread every week.  Bread is my weakness.  I could eat a whole loaf in about an hour, slathered in butter and rhubarb jam.

I miss bread. I used to bake homemade bread occasionally before wls. I had BLT lettuce wraps for dinner last night and I missed the toast.  I like the weight loss way more than bread though. No regrets.

Pizza, specifically pan crust half-pepperoni, half-meat lovers. Before surgery, it was almost as if I saw eating half of a medium as a challenge every time I got one. The thought of eating even half of one slice now makes me feel sick.

Fast food from almost anywhere. Make it a medium (or even a large)!

Finally, the almost nail in my coffin, full-sugar soft drinks. I think for at least 5 years I didn't (intentionally) drink a drop of water because all I ever drank was Coca-Cola classic. Four to five cans a day was the norm.

I understand that, if it's not Starbucks it's a coke.  I appear to hate water.  I've tried all the water add-in things and they all make me hate water more.  The best option I've found is water with fresh lemon.  I'm currently maintaining a no or only one soda a day but it's a fight sometimes.

But here's to another cursed full sugar coke lover.

Anything with sugar: cookies, pie, cake, ice cream, pudding.  Anything.  Plus bread, especially that wonderful crusty bread they give you in restaurants, or that LaBrea Bakery made.  You can get that at Trader Joe's these days.  I romance that kiosk every time I go by it.

This was me, bonus points for bacon on the burger, and some fried zucchini to eat on the way home. And buffets, I could do serious damage at a buffet. The first plate was the 'sampler' plate, second plate was bigger servings of whatever was good the first time around, and I usually had a small plate of desserts after that. Always washed down with diet soda, because I was being responsible and not drinking my calories :P
