I am so sorry for your results.  Please feel free to vent here whenever you need to.

Hang in there! I have a similar story. I had RNY in July 2007, lost 140-150 lbs. After initial 120 lb weight loss my breasts were deflated and I noted an irregular lump in my right breast. I watched it for 2 months and it seems to be growing so I had it checked out. A mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy later, same conclusion... invasive ductal carcinoma, nuclear grade 3, triple receptor negative, with lymph node involvement (i was 29 ). I ended up having a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction, chemo, and radiation. I became emaciated (much below goal) due to lack of appetite and nausea from chemo and in the irony of ironies they didn't have enough fat to reconstruct properly sized breasts and I ended up with not even a full B. I lost my hair (now fully grown back) within the first 2 weeks of chemo. The entire process, treatment and recovery, took about 2 years. Here I sit nearly 8 years later perfectly healthy (by the grace of God). I write this to offer you hope. No one could have convinced me in the midst of the storm that I'd be ok. I pray for you for the same outcome. Feel free to private message me and we can keep in touch and I can offer you support through your journey.

I totally understand! It's shocking, it makes you rethink your life, it changes your perspective and you realize just how resilient you are! Just take it one day at a time! There will be good days and bad, but keep pushing through as the strong woman that you are.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know you're in a really stressful situation right now. Hope the result would be negative cancer cells. Stay strong and keep on praying.
