"can you get a few days off work?"
Me: *checks calendar* after 3/30, no problem.

"Ok, we're all set! Leaving on a Friday coming home on a Monday"
Me: "Sounds great!"

Me telling mom about my plans.....
Mom: Where are you going?
Me: No clue.
Mom: Tent camping or a cabin?
Me: No clue.
Mom: What are you going to wear??? You don't have any warm clothes!
Me: Um....no clue!

So I asked the questions today. Seems I agreed to go hiking in the Smokey Mountains for a weekend to look a****erfalls......... and here I just *assumed* we were staying in Michigan!

Nice long ride, hopefully with someone else driving. The Smokeys are gorgeous. So are Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in fact part of the Smokey Mtns National park is actually in Gatlinburg. You are going to have a adventure. Wish someone would rope me into a surprise trip like that. Great reward after losing weight. Have fun and let us all know how it went.

You will love it!!! I'm a hiker and go to Smoky Mtns a lot. Some of the wild flowers are starting to bloom. Enjoy!!!

I go hiking out there a lot! Don't miss Laurel Falls! It's not too bad of a hike for a beautiful waterfall! Watch out for bears throughout. I've even seen them down IN Gatlinburg, and many many up in the mountains while hiking!
