EEEEEK! Not losing weight?

I'm one week post-rny. By the time I first weighed at home, maybe three days after surgery, I'd lost a bunch (from the pre-op weighin). I've lost nothing since! Ordinarily, I wouldn't worry, but it sounds like most people are having the weight just fly off at this stage. I'm following the guidelines closely. Any ideas?

most people have their first stall right out of the gate (during the first month or so or after surgery).  We call it the "three week stall", but it's not always during week three.  Maybe you've just hit it early?  I had it weeks 2 and 3, then my weight started dropping quickly again during week 4.  Regardless of what it is, just stick to your program - your weight loss will start up again

Thanks! I'm think I'm partly freaking out because of fear of failing at this.

Every body is different, it's useless to compare yourself to others. Body composition, health history, surgery type, starting weight, and all sorts of other factors affect your loss pattern.

You will not lose weight every day. You've already lost "a bunch," and tomorrow you might be down a bit more.

Take a deep breath and keep doing what you're doing.

My stall started a week out from surgery and lasted for 22 days. Trust me, I panicked but it doesn't last forever!!

It took me a week just to break even from what I gained during surgery. And I never had weight "fly off." It was always work. Always a grind. Hour by hour, day by day, not giving in to easy and bad choices.

Hang in there. Follow a great plan 100 percent, and it will happen.
