Hi fellow WLSers. I'm curious...what is something you never imagined you could do, and now you can?

It can be as minor as "wrap a normal sized towel around my body" or as major as "skydive".

I know I had no idea how trapped I was in my super morbidly obese body until I lost the weight and I could see how much it held me back.

My most recent NSV is from yesterday. We took Kris' 12 year old son Go-Karting. Something I couldn't have done at 350 lbs (both sitting so close to the ground - and getting up after! - nor fitting in the seat or being able to fasten the seatbelt!).

So inspire us and tell us something you never imagined you could do, and now you can!

That's awesome! A marathon is not something I will ever tackle (try as I might...I just can't get myself to be a runner) but I see all the folks on here who do 10ks and half marathons and full marathons and triathlons and even IronMan competitions and I am so proud of y'all!

Thanks, Joanne!

I am trying to think if I ever felt like I couldn't breathe normally...I don't think I had that issue but I most definitely snored when I was SMO!

I hear you, Kathy...It's crazy how it became "normal" to me to have my knees aching each and every day. Definitely a great motivator for me to not go back to where I was...being able to walk thousands and thousands of steps a day is a true blessing.

Thanks, Gwen! I know...do you ever look at yourself, flying places to do walks and runs, and think "who have I become??!!??!!" (in the most positive way, of course!). You're kicking ass and taking names.
