Good talk from the Royal Institute. Despite the kinda click-bait-y title, I don't think there's anything controversial in the talk. It's all consistent with what I've learned from other reliable sources. But he has a knack for explaining things clearly. He talks about something that has long puzzled me: why do low-calorie and low-carb diets work about equally well, when they are so different? The answer, apparently, is that on both of those diets, and most other popular diets, you naturally end up eating more protein and fibre, both of which make you feel fuller.
