I am having RNY on july 23. I weight over 400 lbs. This will work right? As long as I do my part and follow the guidelines and etc my surgeon as given me.

Yes, it does work. It can be hard sometimes to rein ourselves in and not compare ourselves to others, but comparison is the enemy of success. You will lose at your own pace; it doesn't matter how much anyone else is losing or at what pace. Follow the plan you are given, work on any emotional issues that may cause roadblocks, and enjoy this time.

You can do it!
