Its time has come to make its exit....
I knew that this would come off like this... It is not necessarily what I meant to imply.... I actually lost weight using the lapbad... almost 100 pounds... but with all the over fills... fill and unfill...I ever got back to green....oOOOOHHHHH Yeah and my old surgeon neglected to inform me that I had a dilated esophagus.... I was just curious....

I am a recent lapband to DS convertee (July 7th) and within the first 10 days I had lost 20 lbs. I have hit a stall in the last 7 days :-( but I am not complaining as I know my body is adjusting.
Although I am less than 3 weeks out of surgery, I can't begin to describe how great I feel. It has truly been a blessing and I am so looking forward to the rest of my new journey.

HW 175 KG (385 lbs) - then banded in 2008 - DS journey HW 146 KG (322 lbs)
CW 81 KG (179 lbs) - GW 79.5 KG (175 lbs)

It is good to hear that you are feeling great....
All the vomitting and filling and unfilling and being told that I am the reason why I am not being successfull has taken its toll on me... I can not wait to be free....

I also had a crapband but revised to the DS. Best thing I've ever done! I was at goal in 10 months. I was considered a lightweight but still lost all of my excess weight. I was one of the lucky ones and never stalled until I was 5-10 lbs from goal. I lost in chunks of weight, meaning I wouldn't lose anything for two weeks and then I'd drop 10 lbs seemingly overnight. Weird. I'm not complaining though!
