Surgery & heart arrhythmia

I got cleared for surgery today

But, they finally diagnosed me with heart arrhythmia. The doctor said that wont stop them from doing surgery. Is this something I should be concerned about though?

Of course my pre-op doctor from my home-town clinic had no idea what the DS was.

I'm so nervous and emotional. But, I am hanging in there.

 believe me, if they thought it would make a difference, or that you need to be concerned they would tell you. I doubt they would clear you if there was even a sliver of a chance of it causing a problem. 
Please don't worry about it. I know easier said than done. Think of the good stuff as much as you can instead of the "not so good".

You'll do wonderful, you'll see. Before you know it you will be back home and sipping and walking.
