protien shake is fulling me up, not sure it is a good thing

I have just started a new protein shake and it is quite filling, the last ones were not, I could always eat with them and after them if you know what I mean, but this one fills me up. I have one for breakfast and it seems to fill up my stomach for most of the day. I just don't feel like eating anymore. It has been a few days and I only eat one other meal a day now. Before I switched drinks I had cut back on my eating to smaller portions and watched what I was eating more online with the DS and lost a few pounds  but now I am worried I;m not getting enough food in me. I have been having it with milk I am going to try water and see if that helps tomorrow, 2 shakes today is all I have had

Shakes are supposed to help you overcome carb cravings. I would take a look at that label on your new shake and see how many carbs and protein grams per scoop. What's the brand?

The brand name is MyoFusion probiotic series, 48 g protein and 18g amino acids and 9 carbs and 150 calories, I'm trying it with water today and so far not to bad, I had a slice of toast with peanut butter before I had it

The numbers make no sense.  48 grams of protein alone is about 192 calories.  No protein powder that have have seen has more that 35 per scoop.  Maybe 48=2 scoops?  Maybe the toast has something to do with filling you up.  I stay away from bread since it is obviously very carby and I am pretty sure I am gluten intolerant.

Those are the numbers on the container for 1 scoop and I tried the toast today just to see if I could get something in me besides the shake. Having it with water has helped today, though I still found it sweet is wasn't as thick.

I think if it's keeping you from eating crap...then it's a good thing.  if it's preventing you from eating protein-rich solid food...not good!  How many ounces is the shake?  You might want to take your shakes in smaller doses throughout the day.

The shakes are 8oz each I tried to spread it out today over 1/2 hour and that helped, bu****er is definitely better then milk, it is still sweet but not so thick
