I hate Scale Stalls

I say scale stalls because in the last almost 5 weeks the scale has not went under 237lbs, but I have lost size. I do lift weights so I know that is slowing my scale movement but I just like to see the scale move. How long has some of you went threw stalls then it just kick back in?

I had my surgery on 05/15 and just got out of a two week stall. It was emotionally trying and I am glad it is over. I read a lot about what others have said at different stages. Like you I noticed that fat was shifting in my body so that gave me hope. Hang in there and good luck!

My stalls can last 3 or 4 weeks. I weigh in weekly but only track changes by the month.

I lost 2 pounds last month (#14 since my DS) and most of my weigh-ins were the same or up
a lb or two over the month.

Even given that I still do feel sizes shifting which helps me not worry too much about the slow weight loss.

I went almost two and half months on my last one. I stayed between 205-207. Suddenly it just broke and I dropped ten pounds in two weeks. That was the longest one for me. I have had maybe three over the last year...I think.

When I started training for bodybuilding (almost 2 years ago) I stopped using the scale and just depend on progress pictures that I take every two weeks.  I am four years out and have not had any significant stalls to date.  I have been 150 pounds for over a year I think but my progress pictures continue to change and evolve.

 

The scale does not take into account body composition.
