I just signed up for my first 10K.  It also happens to be only 2 weeks after my second 8K.  I hope I haven't been too aggressive.

Nah you will do fine.

I did my first and second 1/2 marathons only 20 days apart.  The second one was much more comfortable than the first.  I had almost no discomfort after the second one.  The first one I felt like I could barely climb the stairs into my house.

Let us know how it goes for you.

I'm sure you will do fine.

Scott

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

Thanks for the encouraging words.  I've been working pretty hard for this (well at least for me) and I'm really excited but nervous.  I just want to finish without making a fool out of myself!

You'll do great! Last year, at 11 months post-op, I gave myself a challenge of 2 half marathons in 2 weeks. I felt good for both, the first run I ran in 1:51:38 and the second in 1:51:17. With enough run training, your body learns how to recover faster from it.
