Hubby's first run in Guam....OMG so funny!!!!

This was my husbands first run in Guam...I am not there yet, but hoping when I get there, we can run in pairs....lol....I almost peed my pants reading this, so be careful!!!



 So I just got back from my run on the island of Guam.....Let me tell you about it....Nice, peaceful, birds chirping...little did I know that they were communicating....coming up with a plan....A PLAN TO KILL ME! Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.....The first wave dives for my head...all three missing...then second wave, third wave....GOOD GOD I AM GOING TO DIE! I frantically pick up my pace....no luck, these birds are trained, very athletic, and even deadlier........I see a baseball dugout....I head for it....taking cover I try and come up with a plan to get back to the Gateway inn....I see a van...can I make it....I go.... sprinting faster than I have ever sprinted in my life! I wave frantically....thank god he stops....I jump in....he laughs and says they got you too....

If that had happened to me, I would be convinced that the former fat-girl inside had been reincarnated to birds looking to derail my success.  Here's to future bird-less runs for all of us.

Ha! That is hilarious. At least you guys will be able to get your speed intervals in with some extra motivation

 Hahaha, that is what I told my husband....Speed work should be fun....

Too funny. My coworker is from Guam. I'll have to ask him about how they raise their birds.

Maybe he can run with an umbrella hat.

I spent almost a year on Saipan...I know they eat fruit bats!!  Maybe they are getting their revenge...

Reminds me of the Hitch**** movie "The Birds". Definitely time to wear a hat.
