Ran 8-miles this morning. It was 85 degrees at 4:45am when we started the run. Soupy and yuchy, but it's done now. Rest of the day should be a breeze.
What did you do today?

wow... that is hotter than here, it was 76/77 @ 4:30 am this morning in GA (which i thought was ridiculous enough).

i had a total meltdown @ the gym this morning... got a half hour into my swim and for the first time had a low blood sugar attack during a workout.  suffiice it to say, i bagged the rest of the planned swim and lifting session.  i'm still feeling weak from it now, hope it isn't anything more than fatigue.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

So is ridiculous the temp or the time of the morning you're out there getting in your workout? Take care of that blood sugar. Believe it or not, I have 5-hour energy to be a great pick me up for my runs and cycling of more than an hour.

I hope Bill and I aren't setting the days pattern !
Got to the gym for leg day and on my 1st warm up set of squats felt like I was going to blow both quads. Immidiately abandoned the lifting and ran five easy slow miles and called it a day.

I don't envy your heat! It's a cool 55 degrees here today and I love it! Made it to morning weights class and will plan to run this evening - it should only be mid-60s around then.

103 here today with a heat index of 113. Typical summer weather in South Texas.

I have "karate hell class" installment 2 tonight. Every Wednesday and Thursday this summer. I don't know what to expect tonight but last night was quite a bit of stretching, abwork, followed by boxing and sparring drills and some floor work. Not too hard, and not too sore this morning.

This heat in upstate NY is definitely something we are not  used to---and its killing my evening runs.  I will do 3.5 miles tonight.

I did 3 miles last night and my baby bro went with me--he still can't hang with his big sis!  Love it!  hahaha

Still cool in the upper 60s very low 70s here. Still too cold to heat my pool.
Rest day for me. Maybe a half hour walk at lunch. Still trying to rest my knee.
