Monday Workouts!!!

I was up early today so I went to the gym for about 30 minutes.  On my first TM at 3/4 of a mile I put the speed up to 7.3 and when it got to about 7 the belt slipped and the machine went off.  Pissed me off and I almost punched the console.  Held back though.  Is it too much to ask that I be able to finish a workout on a TM.  The second one just slipped at about 5 mph and the third let me finish at about 6 mph.  Anyway, time for a letter to the owner.

I also did some core work and dead lifts.  Overall, I would call it agood workout since I really didn't plan on going anyway.

Ran 4.2 in 31 minutes then rowed 5000M in 20 minutes... Taught Spin Class this evening.

Ran/Walked - 25 minutes (doing C25K)
weights for 35 minutes - lower body (quads, glutes, calves)

 4.2 miles walk/jog----no zombie shuffle today!!! AND a PR of 3.1 in 40 minutes!!  WOOHOO!!  AND no achilles pain (Thanks sports medicine doc!!)

Lots of 5K's, 10K's., 4 1/2 Marathons, 3 Sprint Triathlon done. 2 Olympics and my  First IRONMAN 70.3 September 2013 and First Full Marathon Dec 2013  !!!!!

 I'm on the DL... besides a terrible cold, I hurt my hip, doing of all things, bowling.  I guess it must be on the scietic nerve, because it shoots down my leg from my lower back.  Everytime I try to stand or bend a bit, wham, my leg goes limp and hurts like heck.  Ugh.

Ran 3-miles this morning. Hit the gym after work for some shoulder and ab work. Then walked the puppy when I got home.
