Has anyone experienced the 3M 1/2 marathon in Austin, TX?

My sister and I did the half in Dallas (White Rock) and our time stunk!!! It was her first half ever and it was horribly humid. The route was awful too and it caused everyone to have a slower than normal pace. We thought we would do the 3M 1/2 in Austin as a re-do. I hear it is mostly downhill and most people say their time is normally better than average. I sure hope so!! We worked so hard to end the season with a bad time, because of the weather and being so over crowded at White Rock. Hope to hear from anyone who may know about the 3M in Austin. We super excited about the race!!

Sorry, I haven't run it but the word is that it is indeed a PR race and fairly easy and fast. I (unfortunately) chose the hilly Austin 1/2 as my first 1/2 marathon.  Hope you have a great race!!
