Weekday workouts

I'm certain I've hit that place that I was in last training season where the rungries are a regular occurrence.... Which means the scale is up and I'm not happy about it, but also know it's fueling my body for this upcoming marathon and ultra...Just gotta focus on making sure my choices are protein first and pull the reins on the carbs (specifically on minimally nutritive ones!)

 

Training for this week:

Monday - rest

Tuesday - am 6mi, pm 6mi trail

Weds - marathon group speedwork: ladder@ LSD-90to120 (1.25mi warm up, 1.25mi cool down, 400-800-1200-1200-800-400 at 8:50min/mile to at 8:20min/mile) Total mileage= 9.5mi 

Thurs - rest

Friday - 12.25mi

First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR  Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13(1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.

I'm finally taking a rest this week after last week's kidney stone.  Today my only plans are getting blood drawn and getting a massage.  Blissful and much needed rest day!  

Mon: yoga at home
Tue: running outside, yoga class
Wed: REST
Thu: running outside, yoga at home, bhangra class
Fri: tai chi class, pilates class

Last week I was up in Tahoe for the eventually canceled IM Lake Tahoe. This week is the last official week of working out before my tri club goes on hiatus.
