Counting food

Quick question, and yes, I'm being serious:

I keep a food diary. If I throw something up because it got stuck, should I still count it on my food diary as food consumed? I mean, it's no longer in my stomach, right?

I'm curious to see how you all answer this one. Thanks!

Well, I don't know for sure, but I would count at least half the calories.

As you chew and swallow some of the food is metabolized.

Also, I go back to liquids or sorts when that happens so on those days I am usually under my calories.

I count it, because you don't know how much you absorbed. Like Kath said it's back to liquids afterwards so your calorie count should be low.
I always worry when it happens after I have taken my meds. Specialy when I can see capsules (TMI), will I get enough for my blood pressure or not?

If you are properly adjusted and eating correctly you shouldn't be throwing up. If this is happening very often like daily you either need a small unfill or more practice chewing well. It is NOT good to throw up with a band, it causes all kinds of problems later on.
