What do banders do when they have the flu? Never had such pain!

This is he third since being banded I have been sick and trying to vomit feels like someones fist is trying to be shoved up my chest! I was doing lamaz breathing and would have cried if not in so much pain. So what can I do next time this happens?

You can see if your surgeon or even your PCP can give you a Rx for an anti nausea med. I don't remember any names of them off hand but I'm sure they will know.

Zofran or Phenergan should work for you!  Ask your doctor for a suppository if you're not able to keep anything down.

I do have zofran and took 3 of them. Just wondering what else can be done. Thanks

You were still nauseated and vomiting after taking 3 Zofran? I think I'd see a doctor, maybe.

My doctor said if I get the flu and meds do not help he would recommend an un fill to avoid damage to the band
